Terms of use
12 articles.
1Purpose of the service
languages·Ai is a distance language-learning service, combining written lessons and calls with a teacher. It is published by AURALIS LIMITED (Ireland) and distributed in Morocco by BIOTRACABILITE SARL. These terms govern access to the service and its use; registration constitutes acceptance.
2Certificates are not official diplomas
The certificate issued at the end of a level attests to the successful completion of the lessons, tests and examinations of the course. It constitutes neither a State diploma nor an official certification, and has no equivalent value.
3Who may open an account
The service is intended for natural persons aged at least 18, or for minors with the consent of their legal representative, having the capacity to contract. The user opens a single account and provides accurate information: first name (mandatory, as it appears on the certificate), email address, password and country.
4The account, the balance and top-ups
The account is personal. The service operates without subscription, on a prepaid balance that the user tops up freely. No top-up is credited before the payment is confirmed by the bank: for as long as the confirmation has not been received, the order remains pending and the balance does not change.
5Prices and how they are measured
Amounts are displayed in the currency of the user’s country, before any payment, and are those served by the server at the time of reading. Call minutes are deducted per minute actually spoken, measured by the server from the beginning to the end of the exchange.
6Payment
Payment is made by card, on the secure page of the bank. languages·Ai retains no card number and no mandate. Each payment gives rise to a numbered invoice, in the user’s name, available in the account and sent by email.
7Sessions, calls and certificates
English comprises four levels (A1, A2, B1, B2) and the other languages three (A1, A2, B1), with ten lessons per level. The user reads the lessons at their own pace, calls the teacher (deducted by the minute) and takes the written tests, which are free of charge, as well as the oral examination of each lesson. Validation of the ten lessons of a level gives entitlement to the certificate for that level, drawn up in the name and under the registration number of the user and publicly verifiable by its identifier.
8Unused balance and claims
An unused balance remains acquired by the user: it does not expire and is not taken back. Any complaint, including a request for refund of an unused balance, is to be addressed to support; it is handled in accordance with these terms and the applicable law. No refund is automatic.
9Term, account deletion, termination
The contract is concluded for an indefinite duration. The user may request the deletion of their account at any time from support; deletion erases the course, the grades, the session sheets and the transcripts, subject to invoices and accounting records, kept for 10 years under a legal obligation.
10Liability and limits
The service is provided under a best-efforts obligation. languages·Ai does not guarantee a learning outcome and is not responsible for the quality of the user’s connection, for non-compliant use, or for indirect consequences. Nothing in this article sets aside the mandatory rights of the consumer.
11Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Irish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Dublin (Ireland), without prejudice to the mandatory protective provisions of the consumer’s country of residence, which remain applicable.
12Support and mediation
Support can be reached at our customer service. The consumer may have recourse to a consumer mediation scheme provided for by the applicable law.
